Ariki Pattern

Tav is a well-known high-end fashion label throughout the Pacific. They are known for using traditional Polynesian motifs in their designs, which are then printed using a traditional block printing process. I helped them transition into digital printing by creating digital patterns. The task for the first digital pattern was to combine different Polynesian symbols, so it includes symbols from the Cook Islands, Hawaii and French Polynesia.
