Renaissance Henry Pattern

Tav is a well-known high-end fashion label throughout the Pacific. They are known for using traditional Polynesian motifs in their designs, which are then printed using a traditional block printing process. I helped them transition into digital printing by creating digital patterns. The first pattern that I developed with Tav consisted of simple flat vector symbols. The challenge with this project was to take the aesthetics to a higher level and make the style of the digital pattern as close as possible to the aesthetic of the original traditional block print.
